SPACE therapy is an evidence-based, parent-focused, structured intervention for childhood anxiety disorders that include OCD, separation anxiety, social anxiety, generalized anxiety, phobias, panic disorder, agoraphobia, selective mutism, and picky eating (ARFID). It transforms how parents respond to their child’s anxiety — shifting from accommodation to support — which in turn helps the child feel more capable and less distressed.
